Smaller cumbution chambers on 5.3's, stock valves are smaller, but would be bigger on the tsp's.

would i loose ptv then with the 5.3's or are the bowls just smaller? from what tsp's flow numbers indicate they flow very similar but i need a smaller combustion chamber for some added cr. i could mill an ls6 head but if i could still mill the 5.3 as much as the ls6 and they flow so damn close it only seems to say that i COULD get more power out of a 5.3......

Here is a post I found.

"I was wanting to get a Torquer V2 with my 5.3L heads.. They are milled 0.030.
Predator recommended a custom 226/230, .585/.592 110+1 XE-R. I trust that PredatorZ knows what he is talking about, but Texas Speed told me I shouldn't go any bigger than a 224/224 .581/.581 110 (which is the one I bought).

I made 410/390 on with the 5.3 heads (ported and polished) and the TSP 224 cam. This is with a stock intake and stock pulley. I was really impressed with the power increase considering the heads and cam I chose."

These were milled .030. The best bet is to talk to I think its Jason or probably anyone at TSP. I would like to know also, the PRC 1.5 5.3 heads seem to be one of the best budget heads. I am also looking at Patriot 243 castings.
