Default Misfire Problem?

A friend of mine who has a 99' 30th T/A M6 had his SES light come on the other day so I used my OBDII scanner & found it was a cylinder 3 misfire. I deleted the code & a day later it came back, same code. What could be the cause of this? Thanks!

Bad plug, bad wire, bad coil, loose plug post, clogged/flaky injector... Oodles of fun. <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> I have a misfire at RPM > 5200 I'm trying to pin down.

Nightclaw my cylinder #8 does that...mostly shows up when I start to go lean. I think I have that fixed now and when let you know as soon as the road dries!
