I've noticed the same thing except with my borla, the borla seems to flow alot better than the cutout and seems to make more power as well.

Another SLP dual-dual user here, by far the best performing quiet catback available. I hate loud cars on the street, especially SLOW loud cars.
On my heads/cam, the cutout was worth a tenth over my SLP, on this motor it is worth about 0.13 average over my SLP.
