run like i lost power

I just put 2002 heads on my car, and a 228/228 .578 .578 cam in my car. I changed spark plugs and wires, blocked the egr valves and all. I did plenty of things. what is my next step. do i need a dyno tune. will that wake it up? because it runs like its trying to run hard but dont. like it running lean. just like i am losing power. tell me what i should do.

if it were a little smaller cam you could get by a little better w/o a tune.

get it tuned, and a dyno will tell you what it will put down.

Not much help to you, but as far as I know, the leaner you run, the better for power (until your engine goes POP). Running rich would hurt power, foul your plugs etc. Best of luck to ya

also adjust your idle screw till you get to the Dyno, that's the only thing that's going to fix your car. I would guess around 360-380rwhp
