Default Loud "clacking" from engine compartment?

Today, I started getting a loud intermittent clacking sound at idle. When I rev up it goes away, but seems like it might be "missing" a little bit. I thought it may be a broken valvespring or a loose rocker arm, so I pulled the valve covers and had a look. The valvesprings appear to be in perfect condition, the rocker arms were still torqued to spec, and the part of the valvestem that I could see appeared ok
After checking that, I put it back together and that sound returned when I started it up.

I'm running a Comp Cam with a duration of 218I/224E, and a gross valve lift of .528I/.535E. I'm using Comp Cams 26915 valvesprings with new OEM retainers, and I've been revving as high as 6700 during the 1/4 mile, although its been over a month since I've been to the track.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Make sure the belts are on properly.

Could be the tensioner????

Exhaust leak?

Its not the belts or an exhaust leak. This is a loud metal-on-metal clacking sound.
