Loud "clacking" from engine compartment?

Loud "clacking" from engine compartment? Today, I started getting a loud intermittent clacking sound at idle. When I rev up it goes away, but seems like it might be "missing" a little bit. I thought it may be a broken valvespring or a loose rocker arm, so I pulled the valve covers and had a look. The valvesprings appear to be in perfect condition, the rocker arms were still torqued to spec, and the part of the valvestem that I could see appeared ok
After checking that, I put it back together and that sound returned when I started it up.
I'm running a Comp Cam with a duration of 218I/224E, and a gross valve lift of .528I/.535E. I'm using Comp Cams 26915 valvesprings with new OEM retainers, and I've been revving as high as 6700 during the 1/4 mile, although its been over a month since I've been to the track.
Has anyone else had this problem?
