bent pushrod? info needed

bent pushrod? info needed car has a ticking noise from driver side valve cover. worse when first started. idles slightly rough but runs good. been going on for about 2 months. lost 3 mph at track. heard the horror stories about bent pushrods, could this be my problem? i would think it would thrash really bad and not run worth a sh%t but its never happened to me bdfore.

Re: bent pushrod? info needed that is what i thought it would be like. catastrophe. mine is just a metallic noise and slightly rough idle. any chance it bent enough to give slack in the rocker arm but not broken?
