I need to replace both belts for a ASP pulley?
When I ordered my pulley the person I talked to said I would need to buy 1 new belt. It's the wider of the two. I got underneath the car to start taking the factory pulley out and just by comparing the pulleys it seemed obvious that neither factory belt would fit the ASP. I do need to replace both, right? The instructions were kinda vague. BTW, I am not putting on a ASP altenator pulley, just the crank.

You will need to replace both. The alternator belt is a Gates part number (or equivalent) K060760. AC is K040378.
Most underdrive pulleys require only one belt change. This is probably what the person was thinking.

Re: I need to replace both belts for a ASP pulley?
Okay, I'm kinda stumped. I need a 4 rib belt and a 6 rib belt. I already have the 6 rib belt. It is a NAPA/Gates part # 060760. So, the 4 rib belt that I still need is K040378, right? That is a Gates/NAPA brand? The way you stated it, and the way the instructions read caused me to think that the AC K040378 was the same 6 rib belt, just a different brand (AC). Want to make sure, thanks!

The 2 belts are different. 6 rib for the accessories and the 4 rib just for the a/c. Both of those are Gates part numbers....you will need both.
