Default Computer Tuning?

Talked with MTI, they're no longer allowing the use of a Hypertech with they programing...

Does anyone know of a good tuner that still allow hypertech tuning?

I don't want to have to send the computer back and forth just to change the shift points.

Trevor, how's your Ed Wright tuning doing?

They (MTI) are now using LS1 Edit. If you do have them tune your PCM, whatever you do don’t have them tune you a core! Send them your stock PCM, and make them tune that one. LS1 Edit has some VIN issues that have caused me a big headache. If you want more info, read the post I started yesterday about “Learned a lesson the hard way about custom tuning”

well...join the club. I was going to go to MTI and have them do my tuning in a few weeks and use the HPPIII to control my shift points but looks like that is gone. I guess we will have to try our luck with ed and hope he nails it on the first try. I just hope he can get mine right the first time i send it.

Sorry, chances are that aint' gonna happen. I have his tuning, and Im not ******* on the guy at all, but I've had to send mine back twice already, and Am going to have to do it again this week. For some reason now, My converter only locks up 50 percent of the time It was fine the instance before, so I know that I
didn't mess with it. THE HARDEST THING TO DO IS TO TUNE THE BRAIN OF YOUR CAR THROUGH THE MAIL!

I've had my pcm back for about two weeks now. Everything is PERFECT! No more worrying about the HPP3 taking 3 hours to program. I'll use it as a transponder to beam Scottie up with Ed gets my vote. PS: remember you have to run STOCK maf for his tuning! Cannot wait to hit the tracks this spring!
