Mike, there is really nothing to it. It is better to use a die grinder, but a dremel tool will work just fine. I have used both and the die grinder defintely makes the job much easier. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> Grind down the excess welds in each of the primary tubes. It will be very obvious once you look at them. Grind them down until it is a nice smooth transition from the flange into the primary tube. Some primaries will be worse than others. Just take your time and when in doubt, stop grinding. Always err on the small side.. LOL Also, it is better to do this before they are sent off to get coated for cosmetic reasons. However, no one will be seeing them once you bolt them on the car. LOL Good luck!

Man our 1200 hp track car only picked up 1 rwhp doing that ... and it was a mustang. Ohhhh i forgot LS1's get 50 from that , and 100 from a cut out <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0">
Its not worth the time and you may decrease the strenght of the headers.... so in short DONT F#@K UP the only set of headers you have

uh they're not porting the headers. Mac headers have really sloppy welds on the inside of the primaries inhibiting flow.
