I imagine that with a good port job it will be worth quite a bit more than the ls6, ecspecially on a modded engine(just IMO). I honestly don't think the heat will be that bad.

Well yes it is the LS6 clone, but with aluminum, BUT I want to extrude hone it out and just plain open it up. I will be running a 408 with s/c, so I need more airflow. The heat to me will not be a problem. One, the oil is not slapping up against the intake as it was in the "old days" of the sbc, we have that plate. Two, ahaha I actually will be buying that Fisher/Prince EWP to help out my S/C. Three, every time I put on a weiand intake or strip dominator on the ole sbc's I always went faster and they were aluminum <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
