whisper lid ?

Default whisper lid ?

i just got a whisper lid got it all on and front clips that hold lid down dont anymore...seem to tight clips keep poping up....there is no diifernce on ss models are there?.....anyone else have this problem??

It sounds like you don't have it on all the way. You need to give it a good wiggle to get it seated in the rear of the lid. Sometimes the front lip of the whisper lid needs to slide back about an 1/8". I should be tight, but not so tight you will break the plastic.

Make sure the tabs in the back of the lip are seated properly. Then push the lid trward the throttle body with some firmness while slightly wiggling it side to side.

That should do it.

the front center top lip needs to fit inside
the lower box rather than on the outside.
It seems awkward but it works..

thanks 2001 ta that really worked..now they fit nice and tight...i would have never thought the front of the lid the way it looked went on the inside of the box...thanks again i was really scraching my head on why this thing would not fit properly
