I left my battery in the car because I forgot to take it out... <img src="gr_emb.gif" border="0"> It has died on me once before and I had to charge it to start the car...how long will this battery last without the car being started...its going to sit in the garage for 4 months if I'm not doing any mods to it...it will come out 2 months from now if its getting modified... <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Did you unhook it?

Hooked up my original one would lose a fair amount of charge when we had those really cold spells in Jan-Feb. I leave it hooked up, and I use a trickle charger once a week.

Yea I was thinking about getting a trickle charger, but that means I got unwrap it once a week...I think I am just going to let this one die and get a new one come spring....

Can anyone reccomend a good battey??

Should I leave it hooked while it dies out, or should I unhook it??? And do I have to take off both cables or just one??

I think I read somewhere that a fully charged battery will last 7 weeks before the cars theif system kills it. If the keys are in the ignition it will last about 1 week or slightly less.
