True Dual Exhaust Complete-HELP!!!
Just finished installing my true dual exhaust setup-cut the Mac y-pipe and installed 3 inch flowmaster 1-chambers on each side. I knew it would be loud, but this thing is ridiculous. Feels like it has lost some low-end. Will an x-pipe help in that area? Have to get some quieter mufflers. Has anyone tried the Spintech sportsmans. I had the spintech with the mufflex 4 inch kit on the car-I liked the sound but it was way too heavy. Should I keep the dual 2.5" and install balance tube or x-pipe, or go with dual 3" w/ x-pipe when I install the new mufflers.
Thanks,

Re: True Dual Exhaust Complete-HELP!!!
LOL. I imagine it is loud. Where do you have them located? 2 ways that you can tame it a bit. First would be to put an X pipe on there, that helps alot, and gives back some of that low end TQ. Second would be to take the duals out over the axles and out the back. If you are dumping the exhaust before the axle, then you will see a huge difference by going out the back. I had mine dumping, but just took them out the back, and there is a difference. Good luck, & e-mail me with any questions. <img src="graemlins/gr_xmas.gif" border="0" alt="[santa]" />
