Default New pushrods or shims ???

I am doing a 6.0L buildup and am getting the heads milled .030 to raise compression. The 6.0 has a 9.4:1 compression ratio from GM. Now, should I use shims to adjust my rockers or just get new shorter pushrods? Where do I get shims? What size pushrods would I need?

Thanks. With the 6.0 having only 9.4:1 compression, should I mill off more than .030 while I am doing it, heads are off and price should be the same? I would like to get compresion in the low 10s.

MMS sells shims.

I don't know enuff about the 6.0 block or your cam's base-circle to give advice on the Pushrod length. I'll say this though. I had my heads milled .030 as well (10.7 to 1 on stock block)...I needed 7.350 p-rods.

IMO, I'd use proper length p-rods. Shims will work for .030...but any more than that, and the rocker geometry gets all jacked up.
