Default Last minute suggestions on pulling Heads & Cam job?

I am about to install a new Cam, pull my heads to port and polish them are there any last minute suggestions I should know about? Any information that you would like to share with me from your own past experiences that might help me. Thanks.

Buy a slightly longer 16mm bolt for pulling the balancer. The stock length is about 1/4-1/2" shorter than you want IOT pull the pulley completely off. I got one at NAPA for $1.50. I think the size you want is 16mm X 4.5", a 4.25 will do.

What kind of suggestions do you want? How to install, or what heads/cam to buy?

Looking for people that have done the work before and found a trick or two about the job. Like right now (as we speak) I'm doing my clutch. To remove the slave I needed a 10 mil open end wrench. I now know if you use electric tape and tape the open end wrench to a screw driver it is now long enough to reach the 10 mil bolt a lot easier. Suggestions like that. I have the cam and most tools for the port & polish job. Thanks for the help. :-)
