Default Wanted: any info on "Trick Flow" push rods...

Over lunch today I discovered some more history on the WS6 that I am thinking about buying. The majority of the work that has been done is bolt on stuff - exhaust, SFC's, etc. which does not bother me. I would have done most of it myself anyway after purchase.
The only internal work anyone knows of is that a set of Trick Flow push rods were installed.

I looked at Trick Flow's web site and the mojority of their parts are for 5.0 Mustangs. They did have some heads for small block Chevy's, but nothing was mentioned about LS1 parts, much less push rods. <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

I'm not sure why push rods would have been installed without anything else. What gains could you possibly see? Why not do roller rockers instead? The rods could be lighter weight I guess, but what else? Could there have been some sort of engine failure that could have prompted him to put new rods in?

Any ideas are welcome. This should be one of my last questions for a while... I hope.

Thanks again,

1) I have had a set of Trickflow pushrods, they make them for the LS1.

2) Is the car an M6? Might have bent some pushrods in the past. Does it have valvesprings too?

3) Is the car in WI? Might want to post in the WI section of www.mfba.org to see if anyone knows the car.
