Re: is fuel injector cleaner bad? No, it is good, but use the good stuff,like Red-line or the NOS brand. Ocatane booster can fould plugs and those snake oil additives are a big NONO! But fuel system cleaner is fine, you should do it every once in a while IMO.

Re: is fuel injector cleaner bad? Ocassional use of injector cleaner is ok, but you should only use it maybe once a year, or twice a year if you do a ton of driving. Anything more than this is overkill and could cause more harm than good. Definitely only use the good stuff, such as the Redline SI-1 stuff, STP, or the stuff with Techron in it.

Re: is fuel injector cleaner bad? What about the injector cleaner that attaches to the schrader valve on the fuel rail? You disable the fuel pump and idle the car using the can. Has anyone used this, and if so do you have a part#?
