Question 2002 Ls1

Hello....

Where was the 2002 LS1 motor foundered, machined, and built? Was this all done in Canada? Just curious is all.

Thanks,
Al

After reading your question, i opened my books 97- 99 5.7 liter LS-1 Romulus, Michigan, 99 & later LS-1/ LS-6 St. Catherines, Ontario, 5.3 liter Silao, Mexico. You may want to pick up How to build high- performance Chevy LS-1/ LS-6 V-8s modifying and tuning gen 111 engines for GM cars & pickups (cartech auto books & manuals). Book tells entire story of gen 111 design & development, and more.
