Default Need to know the name of this part

It is a part that sits inside the engine that presses on the lifters to keep a good profile on the camshaft and to prevent valve float.

seemed like the name had hydro in it somewhere. Is it a hydro rev kit?

This is called a rev kit, i think ARE makes one for LS1. They are a great idea, good way of taking some of the work away from the valve spring, and also keep oilpressure in case of a valvetrain failure.
