Default A/F ratio question

Rule of thumb is that the best A/F is 13.1. If you are running 13.1 on the dyno are you going to be running 13.1 or higher at higher mph with an FTRA? I guess my question is should you shoot for the A/F to be in the 12.0-12.5 range while sitting still on the Dyno? I love to see my dyno #'s as high as possible but would rather take a cut dyno and run better at the track. TIA

Default Re: A/F ratio question

I'd keep it around 13:1 on the dyno... Our pcm/maf setups are pretty sophisticated so even if we are bit leaner at the track under true load I think the pcm can compensate.

Next time I dyno I will be using 13:1 AF again. I did almost 440rwhp last time

12:1 would be way too rich that's for supercharged cars.
