Do you allready have the heads and gaskets?
If yes then 112+1 but with stock gasket
Or if you have both, then
114+1

If no then only mill to 63cc with .040 for ~11.2 and 8.7 DCR on a 110+1 LSA (best combo IMO)

See it has to do with DCR and you do not really want it above 8.7ish

You had better think about notching your pistons because of PTV danger. I've got a XER 228/230 112+2, with unmilled 5.3L heads and it didn't fit. Clearance was as I recall only about .045".

A little over 400 rwhp and 390+ rwtq. This is with a 9" rear and Denny's Nitrous steel DS. Plus I just had my Absolute Speed heads cc'd and the chambers were 69cc and intake runners 245cc. Not exactly optimum for a 346.Erik@HorsepowerEngineering.com[/email] is building a 408 for me and I'll use these heads on it to save $, definitely a compromise.

I don't know then, because the way the spreadsheet is set up it shows 10:1 for a stock set up with a .053 gasket and 66cc head. If I use a negative number for piston deck height as you say it gives 10.3:1 for a stock LS1. I know thats not right

Stock head is 66.67 and the calc dosn't take gasket bore size into consideration. LS1 is in the 10.2:1 compression area.
