What happened to liking the single pattern cams???

222/222 112LSA like but bigger for the 422???

Sanders runs a 244/244 @ .050 single pattern in his 422 MTI stroker..

as does Larry Cato PaiN.

I have a 242/242/114 in my iron block ARE 422ci.

Hell the 422 might need split with bias toward the intake side, because of the LS6 intake.

Think about that one.

But the R1 cam has more exhaust duration, right?

We run our 224 and 229 cams in our 427CI motors. Both are single pattern.

I think the concept behind running a split cam is the larger CI will need more duration to expel the extra exhaust. Whether it's better or worse remains to be seen.
