Good question for exhaust experts...
You will make more power running through the Bullets/Loudmouth. The bullet mufflers are a straight through design with baffles. The Borla muffler is not straight through and in some cases can be pretty restricting.

If I were you, I'd run an ORP, SLP dual/dual, and a cutout. This is what I have, and it's SO much quieter than my 3.5" Mufflex was. If I get to the point that the catback is restricting my performance, then I'll just open the cutout. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> You also won't have the raspy sound of no cats w/ the dual/dual. I bought mine used for $200 + shipping, and it's great.
What would give me more HP? Having a loudmouth exhaust with high flow cats in my Y pipe, or having off road race pipes in my y pipe and having a Borla cat back in with the full plate in so that everything goes through the muffler?
Has anyone done this sort of test before and noticed the difference on a dyno?
I know when you block off the Borla with a plate and all the exhaust goes through the muffler, you loose HP. But if you took out your cats at the same time, would you only make up a little HP and have it be a wash, or would you benefit from it with added HP?
Thanks,
Dan

IMO,,,wont make a dam bit of differnce, its all sound quality. however i would lean toward the opr with bullets in place of the cats and a loud mouth with removed "resonater".
