Default Is anybody using a torque strap?

You know, a solid strap between the motor and frame. With my mods starting to add-up, and the fact that my car is an M6 i wonder if i should do this. Are the OE motor mounts strong enough? If anyone has done this please tell me what you used and how you did it, pictures would be great!

The OEM engine mounts are strong as hell but I mainly use the torque straps to stop the header Y pipes from banging the floor boards on a hard accelaration.

I ran a strap, a come along?, and it helped.

I'd like to run a traditional torque strap, but I'd have to ditch the power steering to use that as a mounting point, and I don't want to yet. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
