best cam for 5.3 StageII?

best cam for 5.3 StageII? I'm trying to decide on whether to build a L92 for my car, or a H/C LS1. I think I'll do a H/C LS1 for the third gen, and build a 400+ stroker L92 for my college graduation present (69 SS Camaro).
So, my question is, what cam would be the best overall for the heads? I want good midrange power and drivability. I'm not building the car for the drags, more for auto-x road course play. Thanks!!
