Default How to remove PCM from car?

I think these are the steps.

1) Disconnect Battery

2) Remove both PCM cables from PCM

3) Remove PCM and PCM cradle from car

(I think all I need to do is remove the two screws holding the cradle to the fender, is this correct? Then twist PCM/Cradle so I can extract it from car)

4) Remove PCM from cradle, wrap in bubble wrap and ship to MTI.

TIA for the help.

Pull. Hard.

Your steps are correct. Don't be afraid to bend up the plastic of the cowl to get the PCM out. It flexes.

These dang LS1 PCMs are tougher than LT1 PCMs to remove. Those suckers slide in & out easily. These require a little more primal force.

It's kinda tricky the first few dozen times or so but I can now do it with two hands tied behind my back and blindfolded.
