Default Prying off crank pulley(need advice)

I'm in the middle of my cam install and I have the crank pulley backed as far as the bolt will let it, I only had the crank bolt turned two full rotations and have backed it out to that point. I am trying to pry gently but the damn thing is not budging, Should I just pry harder or do guys think I should opt for another method like the threaded rod, I tried a socket but it just spins on the crank snout and seems like it is damaging it more than anything so I don't want to go that route.

Why dont you save yourself some hassle and go by a crank pulley extractor.

Did you run out of room (bolt) with the puller? Take a socket small enough to fit in the hub hole of the pulley but larger than the bolt hole, flip it so the open side is toward the back of the car, square hole to the front and use that square hole to put the point of your puller bolt in (it'll essentially be a shim). That'll give you an extra inch or so, more than enough.

Hey guys I did it,, I think I found a really easy way too,, it was on the Houston F bod site. I got a 3/8ths drive 6inch long socket extension and put it inside the crank,, it sticks out just enough to get the pulley puller on and pull it the rest of the way out,, Thank God thats over,, I was really worried about breaking something at this point because of the torque that has to be used to get the crank bolt/pulley off,, Thanks for giving me ideas though.
