Will i have enough PTV clearance? howdy, I am looking at buying a set of 806 casting ARE stage 3 heads with 2.055/1.6 valves. They have been milled .050. Now my cam is a 230/230 .591/.591 110 LSA +4. My question is will this combo work or will i end up smacking the valves with my pistons? Thanks for any input ya'll can give me! I really want these heads but i dont want to buy them to find out they wont work.

What headgasket?
There is no way in hell I'd put any cam in any car without at least claying it to see how far out you are. No reason to spend all that money and F it up.

That's a big aftermarket valve, a BIG mill, and the cam is not a very friendly PTV cam. Yes, the 230 lobe isn' that big, but it's cut narrow and has 4* of advance.Ben T.
