422s, emissions, and cams
I have to ask because I have been warned that the "R1" cam might have trouble with emissions (it's a 232/237 114 LSA .560 max lift).

BTW, I got my car inspected today before it goes in for major surgery tomorrow. Hydrocarbons were 17 at 800 RPM idle and 0 at 2500 RPM. Impressively clean for such a high-performance nearly stock engine.
I'm gonna go with the R1. I figure if I have emission problems I can either just swap out cams and/or find the "right" place to get tested.
$$$$ always talks. Good luck on the transplant. When it is finished ya gotta take me for a ride at the next GTG.

Will do - but first I am gonna have to learn how to drive the thing before I take anyone else out along with me. Little things like not breaking the rear wheels loose at 70 MPH, not overdoing powersteering, and stuff like that . . .
Good luck w/ the 422, and let us know the badass #'s when it's done!
