Gettin dual exhaust, need some help....

Gettin dual exhaust, need some help.... I have decided to go ahead and order the parts for my dual exhaust set up I have in my head. My questions:
Should I go with dual 2.5" or 3"? What about 3" to the x-pipe with the bottom part of the "X" back being 2.5"? That way the gas would have time to cool and condense and therefore the 2.5" would be plenty?? Just a thought.
Where can I get prebent madrel pipes to bend over the axle and out the back? Anybody know a good shop that has done it before that might could fabricate them and ship them to me?
How does dual exhaust sound different from a y-pipe exhaust? I am doing it because it will be different and sound different from most other people.

Re: Gettin dual exhaust, need some help.... Alright, I have found the mufflers I want. They are chambered mufflers that look almost identical to the ones on the GMMG catback. They are 24" long and have a 2.5" inlet and 2.5" outlet. They are also polished SS. I have also found an X-pipe that will work (3" inlets, 2.5" outlets). Now I just need the cats and the headers, as well as the actual pipes. Where can I find 3" cats that are very high flowing? I also want to have dual 3" cutouts put in before the cats. I think this system oughta sound bad as hell. Any opinions on this setup? Any help ya'll can give me? TIA
