Default changed my mind

many of u may have read my thread about not being able to feel a difference after tha cam swap......

Well after feeling kinda dissapointed with the way the car felt after the cam swap (untuned) my friend Carlos with his 99 SS also cammed untuned decided we should race...He is running a TR224 and i am running the Patriot 226..everyting else we have the same all the boltons..

We went from a 20-30 roll and right as we hit it i put 1 car on him then kept pulling and had him by about 1.5 or so at 110mph. I was spinning all of first and part of 2nd

Did the same race and i put 2-2.5 cars on him this time. I actually hooked better this time

Went from a dead stop and he put a bus length on me...lol...he had drag radials and i was on street tires.

We switch tires and did another dead stop and this time i put a bus length on him..lol

At first i was dissapointed with the way the car felt but after the way it ran tonight untuned i really am impressed.

You typically need to add a bunch of spark to the low end due to overlap and cylinder pressure bleeding down. Getting a tune will make it fell much more alive down low.
