Re: Vacum pumps jMX did and had trouble maintaining vacuum at WOT, though it worked well at part throttle. This is the same part number pump that works like a champ on my LT1. It did alleviate his oil consumption issues I believe.
I have a line on a new vacuum pump that may be better and should be self regulating at 10psi, but it is still being tested out.
These are both electric pumps.
I believe the BeaSSt has a moroso belt driven pump on his car.
