How to get rid of "random misfire" code
The SES light is on because of random/multiple misfire. I have the TR224/224 w/ the 112lsa on an M6...The funny thing is that my car idles very well and doesn't stall at idle...even with the a/c running full blast. What can I do to get rid of the SES light beside LS1 Edit? Do you guys think drilling out the throttle body a little will work?
yeah, you need to raise your idle.
I have the MMS 224v3 on a 114LSA and was getting those like mad when the idle would dip. With the custom tuning I have my idle at 850 and i don't see that but every once in a while with prolonged idling.

May I ask just out of curiosity why you didn’t have the PO300 removed when you got the custom tune? I had mine removed <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0"> ...

I have the much debated GMPP hot cam, and I don't throw the code if I'm careful. At 219/228 112LSA, it's not too different from yours.... just be careful not to let the car idle for very long (no more than 30-60 seconds). If you're stuck in traffic, blip the throttle (no more than 1000-1200 RPM's) and the car will "learn" itself out of the misfire code with time. That is, unless you're careless and you let it idle for too long. My car hasn't thrown the SES light in months... it threw it 2-3 times when the cam first went in... but I started being careful with the amount of time I allow it to idle and it's never thrown it since. I am running on stock programming and it has a rock solid idle at 650 RPM's. Good luck...
