Default Gains from MAC Headers

Just curious to see if these are worth the money, or if I should just go ahead; and get the Hooker longtubes and wait on there y-pipe.

MAC headers with the offroad Y-pipe are worth about 15 rwhp on a mostly stock car. They are worth more if you have heads/cam though.

I dont know about the gains yet just installed last night and the header tube on drivers side hits the steering column so hard the car is undrivable. The car is a 2000 SS with only 13500 miles. his i my secnd set o macs 1st set on my 98 SS and no problems just about 1.5-2 mph gain for me.

Track results:

Lid, Cutout, Pulley, Free Mods
8.5 @ 85mph 2.0 60ft.

Lid, Cutout, Pulley, Headers, Free Mods
8.5 @ 89mph 2.2 60ft.

Basically, my ET stayed the same even though I had a shittier launch after the headers. I also picked up 4mph. That should show you that these made power.
