Should I buy an Extended Warranty based on the problems my car has had?

Generally, I don't believe in extended warranties and view them as a waste of money, but based on the LS1 sometimes having oil pump failure and locking up, I've thought about making an exception this time.

Here are the probelms I've had todate with my car:

blown speaker from the factory

flasher unit for the turn signals failed

gauge cluster replaced due to gauge sweep

front brake pads replaced and rotors surfaced due to squeal-took dealer 4 tries to fix this

replacing bad idler pulley due to excessive noise, at dealer for this now.

replacing bad weather stripping around T-top due to leak, at dealer for this now.

rear brakes squeal and the car is at the dealer being worked on for this problem now. Dealer is on try number 5 to fix this.

All but one of these problems have occured in the last 3 months. I only have 3 weeks of warranty left. The car has been babied and used as a weekend car for most of the last 3 years.

Comments appreciated.

From what I've read, the GM warranty is pretty bad about covering stuff. I've read that some aftermarkets are ok, but I don't remember which off the top of my head.

Here is a site about warranties:
