Does any one out there no if volume of oil up to rocker arms is marginal on ls1? It seems with the amount of valvespring problems people have with cam swaps that it could be possible springs arent cooled properly(adequate oiling). Also i have read that some guys have had cam bearing problems on stock LS1's? Any input on both of these subjects would be much appreciated.

It's a normal amount of oil up there similar to what most other hydroroller chevys have. It's somewhat internally limited by the lifters themselves. The main problems with springs are that people were using too small a springs for the lift they were running. The cars with real springs have never had problems. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />
