Default Piston Types?...

I am trying to pick out pistons, and i was wondering what the diffrence was between dome, flat top, dished, etc. were? what one has it advantages for an all engine motor?

Domed = High compression
Flat top= most commonly used
Dished = Forced Induction

what are you building?

I am building a LS7 w/ 4.25 stroke and a 4.125 bore to go into my 2000 T/A, and i also want it to be all engine, maybe some Nitrous. Any ideas?

Most likely flat top. They should list how many CC over or under the piston is. Plug this number into an engine compression calc and see what it turns up.
