What retainers,springs, rods for Thunder 224 ??
I have decided my next mod after longtubes of course will be a Thunder 224 . Of course I plan on doing springs, retainer, and pushrods. My question is what would be the best of all of these . I would rather spend a little more money than have to keep replacing broken parts. Also would I be using stock length pushrods or the shorter ones. Thanks guys !!
I can shift faster than you.

Here is the setup I'll be installing this weekend:
- Comp 918 valvesprings
- Comp 772 Titanium retainers
- Comp hardened pushrods (stock length, 7.400)
- Thunder 224 114lsa cam
You can use the stock retainers with the 918s, but the 772 Ti retainers would be a good upgrade. This valvespring/retainer setup will be VERY light, which will help with valvefloat and extending the life of the springs. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
