I have a list of 10 Cam Spec's. These are the one's I have to choose from. I need someone that has the time and is un-biased about brand names. These are all Brand name cams, so I just want the best overall cam for my car.
First of all, I want great performance. I have a set of ported heads with bigger valves and a set of Comp double springs.
Second, I want a noticeable increase in idle sound, but NOT a Rough idle. I want to know when I crank it up that there is a cam in there, but not enough to rattle the car to pieces.
I will probably go with the new Holley aluminum intake, port-matched to the heads, when it is available, and possibly some MAC headers with O/R Y pipe.
So, if it's not too much to ask, could somebody please take the time to figure out which of these would best meet my needs?!?!
Thanks in advance guys, I know y'all won't steer my wrong!

Cam #9: 221 221 .558 .558
Cam#10: 222 230 .534 .544
All are either 112 deg. Or 114 deg. LSA.
Thanks guys,
Taco

1) Need to pass emissions?
2) Only you driving the car?
3) Will you only be on a drag radial?
Some of the cams on your list will be practically unnoticeable on a 114 LSA.

Cam number nine. The others are either a waste of time IMO with thier low lift and your LARGE double springs. Why go with the STRONG double spring and use low lift? Why go with 9 degrees of extra exhaust if you dont want a shaky/quaky idle?
Nope, of the cams you mentioned, I would choose number 9 with a semi nod to number 8.
But... you never tell us if it is for a m6 or A4 car.

No need to worry about emissions.
Nobody but me EVER drives my car.
I doubt I'll go with anymore tire than a drag radial until I get a rear end that will hold it safely.
As noted, my car is an M6.
Looks like #9 is gonna be the one I go with, unless someone gives me a good reason not to!
Thanks guys, I knew you guys would help me out!!!
