Default Put spare tire back IN for more traction?

I was wondering, and I saw this other post about this was well but cannot find it now, if I put the spare tire back in the back of the car, would that added rear weight give me more traction and result in better 60' times? I understand that you have to weigh the consequence of the added weight, but do you think this would help me more in launching if I put it back in since it adds the weight right over the rear? Thanks!

I read a post somewhere, not sure, that the marginal weight gain over the rear isn't as good as a loss of total weight. If you want some weight over the rear...put the battery back there!
