Default Preload on comp 850-16s?

Im looking for what you guys are running for preload on the comp OEM replacemnet lifter for both the LS1 block and 6.0L Iron block. Ive so many mixed answers its making my head hurt. Some say set it while its hot to .01-.10 on the iron block, and .10 while warm on the alum block. Then Ive read .60-.100 but I thought that was for stock lifters. So id like to hear some of your preload settings with both the iron and alum block.

Comp R's are not a OEM replacement lifter. The Comp 850's are the OEM replacement. Take a look at the new Cadillac Racing lifter that is a GMPP part. SDPC sells them for $217, a bargin.

The preload on a Comp Pro Magnum "R" series lifter is .002"-.004" hot. They will be noisey at idle hot. Do not try to quiet them down!! They will go vertial solid state at about 2000 rpm and you can bend your pushrods.

My bad, I mistyped it. I meant the 850-16's.

I dont need cadillac lifters. I already have these installed.
