Im thinking the convertor is to close to the flywheel.If the convetor ballons it will push the crank forward more so on poweradder cars.Im thinking this might be my problem.

There was metal in the oil when I drained it. And the motor was just rebuilt so the 15 miles or so that I drove it I was taking it easy tring to break it in. The convertor also has antiballoning plate front and rear. This motor had never seen any nitrous or the trans break.

Hows it going with this problem, any word?

I have a 3k TCI & i have about 1300 miles on my new set up... How did the car start to act up for you to notice this?

I personally just did a direct swap with mine, no TQ specs & no spacer? Ive never heard of having to do any of that.

The car was throwing crank position sensor performance code and the motor wasn't running right so I pulled the motor back out and thats what they found. As far as using a spacer thats what's needed when using a th400 and a regular SB stall for a LS1.

Its something in the transmission, my dads 68 bird with a th400 was eating up the mains because the torque converter was pushing the crankshaft forward.

What do you mean something in the trans? Its a brand new built tranny. And when I bolted it all up it all went together great.
