Default poly trans mount vs wheelhop, results

Just finished swapping out the stock beat to hell and back tranny mount with an energy one I picked up at tbyrne for $23. Install was pretty easy, and the new mount fit in perfect, took about 1 hour to do, 20 mins when I did it on a friends car 10 mins later. Went out to test them on some back roads, on smooth pavement we had wheel spin but there was NO wheelhop anymore. It was smooooth as glass on burnouts with no axle hopping around. Went onto some rougher road and did a burnout and launched on the nittos a few times and it hooked up a lot better, def a noticeable improvement although it did give a little hop at first, seems the hotter the tires got the less it hopped. I tried it the the preload plate, which shook the car TONS...like steeringwheel would vibrate out of my hand on turns type ****. The took the plate off and there is only a SLIGHT vibration when you go around corners real quick and kick the rear end out..but when your doing that you can deal with vibrations. No added vibrations when driving around town normally. So thanks to whoever recommended leaving the plate off, works great!

Lowdown:
Cheap, easy install that will take a huge chunk of your wheelhop out, without any side effects I can see. Highly recommended, for the price its something anyone can afford to try.

Nice!
I have one just sitting in my friends garage along with the Torque Arm bushing but it seems like it will take A while to install. So what made it easier to install on your friends? I would like to know if theres A faster way.

heres what saved me time
1. unbolt the tranny mount nut, 18mm
2. jack up tranny about 1/2"
3. unbolt the 4 nuts on crossmember, 15mm
4. unbolt the 2 13mm nuts on the mount
5. put the mount in and get it close to centered
6. put the crossmember back on but dont tighten
7. this saves time here, move the crossmember around until you can get the bolt into the mount from under the crossmember, took me about 40 mins of undoing that mount and moving it before i realized the crossmember has about 1/2 of movement in it, back and forth. it helps to put the bolt in the mount and turn it a few times, then tighten it in place, then tighten the crossmember, lower the tranny back down, then tighten down the mount bolt. It will line up perfectly then.
8. make sure you lower the tranny back down once the crossmember is in place, THEN torque down the single mount bolt.

Takes like 20 mins that way.
youll understand what i mean when ya get under there.
