lifter tick at idle after Hitting 6k rpms

lifter tick at idle after Hitting 6k rpms

It does it at idle but if I rev it some it quits. It seems to do it at lower prms. I pulled the valve cover and looked at the springs "Patriot Golds" and they seem to be fine. No bent pushrods and no bad rockers. Any idea?

Could be a bad lifter. Make sure you have good oil pressure. Also could be piston slap.

**** man, i hope not. My oil pressure is never below 40psi. I've been settin here reading about all these Futral cams going bad so I hope my Comp isn't doing the same thing
