I have been having problems with my car lately as some of you have probably read, if you havent you can read about them here.

My question is, when the computer is in closed loop do the o2 sensors function and make changes to the computer? I am wondering because my car has been missing when it it in open loop but not when it is in closed loop.

Is there anything else that changes when the computer goes from closed to open loop?

 

Yes, the computer is constantly learing when in closed loop but not in open loop.

is learing a typo? or something I dont know about?

So why would my car miss while in open loop and not in closed loop?
