I need to put my pick-up tube on and don't want to screw something up. The caps that are on the windage tray have a hex-lock looking thing. How do I get these off to put the oil pick-up tube on? Also, the cap just covers the mains, is this gonna be an issue when putting the oil pick-up on? It's a 383 LS1 that has been clearenced already.

 

Bolt the pick up tube to the block and slide the pan over it gently...that's all there is to it.
