Default Help Calculating DCR

i posted this in the LS2 section, but i thought of posting this here since i usually get better and detailed responses.
i have pretty much everything else to make the calculation but:

Stock LS2 Deck Height (how much pistons come out of the hole): -0.006 ?
Stock LS2 Piston Dome or Dish (- for a dome + for a dish) 0 ?
Stock LS2 Head gasket thickness: 0.054 ?
stock LS2 243 heads Chamber Volume: 64 cc ?

Thanks

Your head gaskets (MLS) should be .060... The earlier composite (pre 2002 LS1s) were .054. I will take all the other specs as you list them...

.006 out of the hole
0 dish pistons
.060 head gasket
64 cc chamber heads (64.5cc ???)

With a XE-R 228/228 cam on a 112 lsa (+4 advance):
DCR=8.58
Static=10.93

With a XE-R 228/228 cam on a 112 lsa (+2 advance):
DCR=8.43
Static=10.93

With a XE-R 228/228 cam, on a 112 lsa (+0 advance):
DRC=8.29
Static=10.93

Using J-Rods math...

Happy Holidays...

What would the DCR be with only 10.1 compression.

...not to hi-jack this thread, but you would have to give us:

-cam events at .006
-piston dish +/-, if any
-bore/stroke
-headgasket thickness (compressed)
-deck height (piston out of the hole...)

My spreadsheet uses J-Rod's math in a more user-friendly format:

Change the duration and lift on the first tab and it will look up your durations at .006 assuming your lift reflects what the Comp catalog says. The lift that was advertised may be off my one thousandth or so, so play with it (or just look it up in the "lobe source" tab). If I were you, I'd look into the camshaft that is plugged in as an example if you're not going to mill your heads.
