Default Need Help Please

I am installing JBA shorty's on a 99 TA. They gave me two Fiber Metallic Gaskets for each side with a note in the package that said use two per side and I installed them back to back with no sealant. Is this ok? I also tightened my Stage 8 header bolts "tight". At the time I had no info on torque values so I got them "tight". I have only a LARGE torque wrench and could not get a reading on the passenger side which I did first so I just tightended them down. Now I am reflecting on what I did today and wondering if I screwed up anywhere.

Afetr heating and cooling a few times, re-tighten all the bolts to make sure. As long as you don't hear any leaks, I'ld say don't worry, be happy. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I am worried that I may have overtorqued the bolts and with the locking Stage 8 header bolts they cannot loosen.

I checked 3 header bolts on the driver side and the torque ranged from 23 to 27ft/lb. I am guessing I am ok on the torque. I still don't know if I should use some gasket sealant on the header gaskets, air tube and EGR gaskets and collector gaskets. This is the first time I have done something like this. Any advice?
