I'm new to this board but you guys seem to be more knowledgable than any other board I've seen. I have a couple hundred dollars to spend on mods and I don't know if I should order the ASP underdrive pulley and wiat for it on back order or get the ported throttle body from MTI. Are either or both of these mods effective and which is the better value. Thanks for all help.

Personally I went with the Free Ram Air mod,

then exhaust ( mac cat back )

then cam, then headers, then temp switch,

next is temp gauge (digital) and custom thermostat (free).

 

Get a high flow lid with K & N Filter, port and polished the MAF, and Hypertech if auto. I agree with other recommendation with the Free Ram Air Mod. Then get the CATBACK Exhaust, headers, ASAP Pulley, etc. IF you drag race, you might want to obtain lowered control arms to reduce wheel hop. I like Metco LCA. Happy MODDING.................

I can't see you getting any power from a tb.
I put on the BBK 80mm TB (400.00) and gain
less than 1 RWHP and 6 RWTQ.P+P a stock TB?
Why?Isn't the opening (blade) the same size?
So you can't get more air through.That's my
thinking anyway.Pulley- the car will accelerate
faster.(seemingly)SOTP.Proven .1 tenth and 1
MPH.So between the two mods, I would say get
the pulley.I would save a few more bucks and
get headers and ORP.I think Speed Inc.has a
deal on the Mac's or spend the big bucks on
Long tubes.25 RWHP you will definetly fell
