Re: Holley Intake If the holley is a re-cast of the LS6 in aluminum its not going to help much even if it can be ported.
The 15" manifold simply shuts down on the powerband its resonanse tuned for.
Porting is going to be like porting the old 18" cobra intake on the small fords, and only yield 10rwhp with a sharp reduction in tq above the intended RPM range.
The drop in tq equates to the nosing over of the HP curve we see on the 422 and high spinning 346's.
